On 12 October 2020, Oman has announced the implementation of Value Added Tax (VAT) of 5% on the non-governmental fees in accordance with the unified GCC VAT Agreement.
The implementation date of the VAT was on 16th of April 2021 and will become into force starting from July 2021.
