On 11 April 2021, The Trademark Office in UAE has announced their update by accepting the late submission of the legalized POA’s up to non-extendable 30 days from the date of filing the application. Previously, the legalized POA must be submitted at the time of filing the application and late submission of POA was not possible.
Yet, the new grace period is not applicable for oppositions and appeals and accordingly the legalized POA must be submitted at the time of filing.
