Saudi Arabia and Indonesia have recently inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to enhance their intellectual property (IP) ecosystems. The agreement, formalized during the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) meeting in Geneva, signifies a strategic alliance aimed at synergizing efforts in IP system development.

Under this framework, both nations will exchange expertise and tackle common challenges in IP system advancement and network utilization. The collaboration emphasizes sharing strategies and best practices, particularly in integrating cutting-edge technologies like artificial intelligence into IP management.

In addition to technological integration, the MoU encompasses information management, human resources training, and policy development related to intellectual property. Furthermore, Saudi Arabia and Indonesia pledge to jointly promote awareness of IP rights, underscoring their commitment to innovation and compliance with global IP standards
